Friday's Crash - Official Report

Subject: INURY ACCIDENT AT 2321 BIG HORN AVENUE
1. On Friday, January 27, 2012, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Cody Police Department responded to an injury accident that occurred in front of the Maverick Store, located at 2321 Big Horn Avenue, Cody, WY.
2. The initial report was that there were two (2) vehicles involved, injuries were sustained to the occupants of both vehicles and the roadway was partially blocked.
3. At approximately 11:32 p.m., when officers arrived on scene, they learned the following: a 1996 Silver Ford passenger vehicle, driven by a 16 year old female, was traveling westbound on Big Horn Avenue in the inside lane and collided with a 2001 Silver GMC Pick-up, driven by Allen Stanfill (31 yoa), that was traveling eastbound on Big Horn Avenue. The pick-up was in the process of executing a left hand turn from the middle turn lane into the Maverick parking lot.
4. The passengers in the 1996 Silver Ford consisted of two (2) 15 year old males and one (1) 15 year old female.
5. All subjects involved in the accident sustained injuries and were transported to West Park Hospital.
6. Alcohol was NOT a factor in the crash.

7. The investigation is still on-going and there are no further details available at this time.
