Hey everyone, congrats on all of the pounds off.
I spoke in Lovell to an amazing group Friday and some were losin’ it at work competitors. I had a great talk with them and we discussed the details of being clean and all the work that is required.
To all of you reading this post, keep working. Everything that goes in you is what either kills part of you or makes you healthy. So, eat clean and do not add stress that isn’t needed.
The focus for today’s post is discipline. My saying is always “life abounds discipline”. As an Olympian I grew to know discipline in its elite form. It gave me a mind that is driven to know work.
Work not just sometimes or when a goal is attained. Work when its 3 a.m. and I am writing my workouts for the day or dreaming of being the best in the world at what I do. I’ve learned that aggressive discipline is needed to keep your head above water in this world. It is a world where the falsehood of vanity destroys so many peoples’ hope.
People, do not lose hope. If your team isn’t winning, deal with it, and keep working. Your purpose may not be to win but rather lose pounds only. Know why you are doing what you are doing.
Do more to make this challenge better. What can you do more of? More treadmill time? One more apple a day and stop eating after dinner? No hangouts that involve toxic ingestion on the weekends? And most important, know you need to continue to do these new breakthroughs after the competition. This is a life move, not a temporary fix like we tend to do in the USA.
Food:
This week focus on fresh and colors
Fresh meats, fruits, vegetables, and colorful fruit and vegetables.
Let the colors dominate your plate and bagged lunch. Leave the grains out and use protein only in meals with vegetables that are green.
Look to eat 7 times a day, about 2 hours apart, and drink 12 oz water in between each meal
Workout:
More minutes and more repetitions. Who has the ability this week to do 4 90minute workouts?
If you get them done email me and let me know what you did in those 90minute workouts.
THIS WEEK NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN YOUR MEAL PLANS FOCUS ON FOODS THAT CLEAN UP THE WASTE WE HAVE INGESTED FOR DAYS…YEARS…DECADES
FRUIT IS ONE OF THE MYTHS OF THE WORLD…WE HAVE BEEN TRAINED TO SEE FRUIT AS BAD IN TODAY’S SOCIETY AS SUGAR HAS BECOME SOME SORT OF WRECKING MECHANISM IN PEOPLE…..EAT FRUIT AS IT IS WHAT YOU NEED TO NOT BE ADDICTED... (read more)
