A Buffalo woman was sentenced in Federal District Court for health care fraud.

64 year old Beverly Kenik was sentenced June, 20 to one year unsupervised probation and was ordered to pay $100 special assessment fee and restitution in an amount to be determined later.

Kenik was indicted in March for allegedly billing more than $4,000 worth of Medicaid Services that the Wyoming Medicaid Fraud Control Unit had determined she did not deliver. Kenik is a Speech Language Pathologist in Buffalo. The case involves services to a developmentally disabled child that Kenik were not fulfilled.
